The internship is a pivotal step for learners who have completed their theoretical studies at a TVET college. It’s an 18-month immersive experience tailored to their specific fields of study, encompassing HR Finance, Business Administration, Communications, Customer Care, ICT, and related disciplines.
Requirements:
Prospective candidates should hold an N6 Certificate or provide a statement of results from a TVET college. A crucial prerequisite is a letter from the TVET college affirming the learner’s need for 18 months of work experience. Applicants must be South African citizens residing within proximity of the designated SASSA office and, importantly, should be currently unemployed.

Stipend:
Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of R3,500, providing essential financial support throughout the internship period.
Learner Responsibilities:
Interns are tasked with successfully completing a minimum of eighteen months of workplace training at their respective SASSA Office. Compliance with administrative requirements, meticulous logbook maintenance, and offering support to the management team under the supervision of a SASSA mentor are integral aspects of the role.
