Exciting Finance Internship Opportunity at the Electoral Commission

The Electoral Commission, a Chapter 9 state institution in South Africa, invites dynamic individuals to apply for a Finance Internship at its Provincial Office in Durban. This 24-month contract provides a valuable opportunity to grow in the field, with a monthly stipend of R9,471.28.

Responsibilities:
As a Finance Intern, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to efficient financial management, learning asset management processes, participating in bid evaluations, and handling various financial tasks. Your responsibilities will extend to administrative duties, including asset management, reporting, and filing.

Requirements:
To be eligible, applicants should hold a Matric/N3 certificate and a tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Finance, Financial Management, or Accounting. Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is required, along with the ability to work under pressure and a willingness to put in extra hours when needed. A valid driver’s license is preferred.
