Job Description:
As our Broiler House Fogging Maestro, you’ll be the driving force behind daily fogging operations in broiler houses, meticulously adhering to standard operating procedures. Expect to traverse the scenic countryside independently, embracing the role on the road 80% to 90% of the time.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalence.
- You must be in the possession of a Code 10 license with PDP.
- Technical acumen is advantageous.
- A spotless criminal record.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans for seamless communication with our esteemed GFC Contract Growers.
- Adept at client interaction with robust skills.
- Openness to overtime commitments, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Journey to farms for daily fogging of chicken houses.
- Execute fogging post-preparation in anticipation of chick arrival.
- Ensure thorough disinfection of the vehicle and on-site shower facilities.
- Meticulously complete documentation, including pre-fumigation checklists.
- Mix fogging liquid following precise chemical guidelines.
- Adhere rigorously to the manufacturer’s instructions for fogger unit usage.
- Execute fogging in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Safeguard chicken houses post-fumigation to thwart unauthorized access.
