The Electoral Commission is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Regional Admin Clerk in their Eastern Cape regional office. Key Responsibilities:
Regional Human Resource Administration:
- Develop and maintain an effective filing system
- Assist with employee recruitment in the region
- Facilitate the appointment of Municipal Electoral Officers (MEO’s)
- Maintain leave records and personnel records
- Handle routine enquiries and correspondence
- Update registers and statistics
- Coordinate logistics for meetings

Regional Financial Administration:
- Ensure timely payment of regional creditors
- Obtain quotations and handle invoices
- Manage procurement of office supplies
- Maintain the asset register
- Submit reports and update expenditure
- Handle telephone, rental accounts, and petty cash
Regional Travel and Office Services:
- Coordinate travel and accommodation
- Manage pool vehicle administration, mail, and courier services
- Provide reception and office administrator services
Regional Facilities Management:
- Facilitate minor building maintenance works
- Manage cleaning contracts
