We are on the lookout for a self-driven individual to join Thorburn Security Solutions as a Reaction Officer. This role entails supervising security operations for our clients, ensuring the enforcement of security protocols to maintain a safe environment for both employees and visitors. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safeguarding the well-being of clients’ employees, visitors, buildings, and assets.
• Conducting regular property patrols.
• Monitoring surveillance systems.
• Inspecting facilities and equipment.
• Managing access points, authorizing entry and exit.
• Utilizing alarms and related devices to request assistance when necessary.
• Reporting irregularities, addressing policy violations, and detaining trespassers.
• Controlling traffic and providing guidance to drivers as required.
• Maintaining detailed records to document observations, incidents, and surveillance activities.
• Ensuring the operational readiness of equipment through preventive maintenance.
• Prioritizing the security, safety, and satisfaction of all individuals on the premises.
• Delivering exceptional customer service.
• Adhering to all company service and operational standards.
• Complying with local, provincial, and national government regulations.
• Responding to emergencies and offering assistance to employees and customers.
• Protecting company assets from theft, assault, fire, and safety threats.
• Following established procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and accident investigations.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Completion of Grade 12 or Grade 10 & 11 with over 2 years of experience.
• Possession of a PSIRA Grade B certificate.
• Armed response certificate.
• Firearm Competency in Handgun, Shotgun & Rifle.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in report writing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate if necessary.
